Arevik Martirosyan

Curator of the RIGF 2026 Special Course for Youth

PhD in Law, Researcher at the Institute of Contemporary International Studies, Associate Professor at the Department of Public Administration of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, and Head of the School of International Information Security.

She graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry with degrees in International Relations (Bachelor’s), International Law (Master’s), and International Legal Studies (Postgraduate/PhD program). In 2025 she successfully defended her dissertation on International Legal Regulation of Security in the Use of Information and Communication Technologies.

Since 2021 she has been working as a Researcher at the Institute of Contemporary International Studies of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Since 2024 she has been teaching courses on ICT-related issues. She is the author and head of the School of International Information Security, a research, analytical, and educational project devoted to the international digital agenda.

She is an alumna of the Summer School and the Special Course on Internet Governance. In 2022, she became a laureate of the Russian Youth Internet Governance Forum Award For Contribution to International Cooperation in IT and was appointed a Youth Ambassador of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum.

She is a member of the Russian Association of International Law, the National Association for International Information Security, the Youth Council of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, and the Internet Governance Committee of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
